VW Kamperhire

'Hector' was perfect for Glastonbury! And Jon @ VWkamperhire was fantastic! The campervan... I hadn't driven a van for a few yrs so was slightly apprehensive but being a nearly new vehicle it was easypeasy; it was equipped with everything we needed & more! inside, the double front passenger seat turned around so 4 people could sit comfortably at the pull out table; the kitchen (sink, 2 ring gas hob, fridge, worktop & cupboards) was spotless & equipped with everything including tea, coffee, cleaning stuff, spare gas bottle & even playing cards & windup lantern; the 2 double beds in the van were easy to assemble & comfy; the high top roof was easy to pop up & made such a difference giving it a light spacious airy feel; the privacy screen fits easily to the windscreen & front side windows; the camp beds were sturdy/comfy & easy to put up; the inflatable awning took about 10 minutes to put up/attach to side door & really made a huge difference to the living space. All in all fantastic! The service..... Jon was fantastic! Great communication by email/whatsapp; honest (!!!) explained the battery for the fridge, lights, sockets would run out because we didn't have an electric hook up in the Glasto campervan fields... Which meant we could prepare with alternatives rather than find ourselves in the dark! ; pick up location easy to find; safe parking for your car at the pick up site; Jon clearly explained & showed how everything worked; generally a pleasure to deal with, felt safe & looked after. Value for money! Happy to answer any queries but if in doubt just do it! Highly recommend!!!!! Ps: I had booked another campervan through one of the many campervan 'airbnb' type sites but found it didn't have an MOT & had several major defects. If I hadn't checked, the owners would have proceeded to let me hire it & drive it at considerable risk. That just wouldn't happen at Vwkampers! Many thanks Jon... Its safe to say that I had the best UK holiday in Clementine ever, making memories which will last a lifetime! On collection Jon gave a comprehensive explanation of how to use the onboard kit and work the gears (which took a little getting used to), happily answering any questions. Although space was tight (Id probably pack a little lighter in future), she had somehow managed to have all the utensils and cooking equipment one would need for a week away, she even had a cafetiere which proved extremely valuable for the morning cup of coffee. The seats converted easily into a small double bed and the provided windscreen cover prevented the morning sunshine from abruptly waking you up. Quite clearly, everything was thought through and both Jon and Lisa love their VW. Wherever we went we attracted attention, people would look, smile and wave, Clementine really did brighten peoples days. Dont worry about the fact shes limited to 55mph, enjoy the experience, youll oddly miss her once your back in your own modern vehicle. What made Clementine even better was the fact she was dog friendly! Well certainly be making more adventures with VW Kamperhire in the future.

Our second weekend hire, once again great. Excellent from Lisa & Jon. Ozzie (the VW Camper) was good, you learn more each time. We'll be doing it again. 1st time Minehead, this time Brixham, park up, set up and walk everywhere, loved it.

What to say! We hired the beautiful Clementine for our mini moon break, what a gorgeous, orange star she was! Clem the camper made our mini moon adventure, super fun, cozy and a true classic to drive. Lisa (the owner) was always on hand when needed and put on mind at ease from the get go. Clem came with all the bits needed for the holiday, literally a home from home. We hope to have her again some day, we love you Clem x
