The most gorgeous carrot cake in taste and looks! We ordered mum's favourite and asked for something simple re decoration - mum was so chuffed at this gorgeous cake. It looked just beautiful in the centre of the table and the most delicious soft layers of cake hidden within. The Christmas cake, Mother's Day treat box, cup cakes, brownies and macarons all also hit the spot!

Where to start... BAKE Yorkshire cakes are - to put it simply - incredible. Each and every one we have ever had has been extraordinary. There hasn't been a party yet where one of our guests hasn't gone on to order with Lindsay. Every slice is unbelievably moreish, so the cake doesn't hang around long! When it came to our wedding cake, there really wasn't any competition. It had to be BAKE. Lindsay invited us for a tasting session where there was plenty of each, allowing us to go back to taste more than once - which was needed as they were all delicious! We choose the Lemon for the bottom tier, Orange and Passion fruit for the middle, and Red Velvet for the top but we loved the carrot cake too. As we were serving the cake as our reception pudding, we were conscious that the slices needed to be larger than the usual wedding cake slice. To help make sure there was enough to go around, Lindsay suggested we have the carrot cake as a cutting cake in the back. It worked perfectly. We didn't really give much if a brief for Lindsay to follow, To be honest we didn't know what we wanted it to look like (we are all about the taste). We didn't even have a set colour scheme for the wedding. We litterally gave Lindsay no script to work to. We sent over a couple of Pinterest posts for inspiration and let Lindsay run wild... WE COULDN'T HAVE BEEN HAPPIER with what Lindsay came up with! The amount of effort and hard work in the handmade flowers really showed. Everybody was wowed! We felt rude cutting into it! We cannot thank Lindsay enough, absolutely wonderful. THANK YOU! If you're reading this still unsure if BAKE Yorkshire is the right one for you...
