Beautiful location and amazing accommodation. My children loved the park and animals too. Abserlutly recommend to families who want a quiet holiday destination with facilities to occupy kids of all ages, the beach is literally a 5 min walk away and you can join the coastal path here too. Wifi was a little slow at night, so if you are wantching a film during the evening, I advise you to download during the day to avoid buffering. Lovely pub within walking distance with fantastic food and serve gluten-free options, too.

Rooms: Rooms were delightful. The quality of the bedding especially good, in fact, I have been inspired to follow suit and get hotel quality bedding for our home. With the addition of a few plants, I could have moved right in. Dream on. Walkability: Very close to the beach, in fact you could see the dunes at the side of the cluster of cottages, so very handy to just walk down to the beach with the picnic stuff etc. The country roads are awkward for walkers, and folks should make sure they walk against the traffic for safety, none of the dog walkers were actually doing that. It seems that the country code is being forgotten. Maybe this could be noted in the handy booklet I found in the cottage. For safety. Noteworthy details: Bathroom and Kitchen was very well set up. The conservatory was nice, and got quite hot in the spring sunshine. There were lots of little details which pleased us, they have really put a lot of effort into this and I appreciated all of them. It looked newly decorated too. The little handy bag with dishwasher and laundry soap was a nice touch and we made use of both. The heating was amazing, and we had to turn it down on occasion as it was too hot for us. The beautiful white peacock would run up to me for some titbits, which was fun. And because it was only early in the year, totally peaceful which is what we needed after a stressful 5 years in a busy city. One negative comment. I like to work on my computer in my free time, watch films, do some studying, writing, etc, and we brought them along. The wifi was totally rubbish on two of the days, and the 4g phone coverage was patchy too, which disappointed and frustrated me as I only found out it could be temperamental after I arrived, not made clear on the booking form. It could have been a deal breaker if I had known before I booked. But otherwise, totally work the money. Would book again.
