Newton Aycliffe Post Office

Worst customer service received anywhere. It's like they are doing you a favour by serving you. Unhelpful & unpleasant PO Counter staff. I try & avoid using it.

Called in today to renew drv licence and photo part ,1, staff unable to take photos and deal with my licence as I was cancelling PCV part which is a tick box exercise , renew my photo as it is due to expire I was sent by staff to another business to get my photo taken 6 then returned to post office to be told they were unable to process my licence and I would have to go home and do it on line Really so much for customer service

I think the staff are overworked and underpaid. I must admit, one member of staff isnt always the most friendly or helpful but the others are just trying their hardest in a very demanding, relentless (and lets face it) thankless job! Ive always received 1st class service excepting one occasion, however, people are only human and we all have bad days. they will be under even more pressure due to the strikes and more and more banks closing, so please try to be more understanding in these incredibly demanding and stressful times and show some gratitude. Were lucky we dont have to travel to another town to find a post office like some do! Keep going ladies, youre doing just fine

Absolutely awesome service as always from the lovely ladies that work tirelessly at this post office. I will soon be moving to a new town and I only hope the service is as awesome as it has been here. Hard working women like these need a break, they're not unkind, just doing their day's work and putting up with grief day in day out. Since the bank's closed, their workload has increased dramatically, I don't think people appreciate what they do and have done to continue to remedy this problem in our town. They deserve a huge medal, and only hope they don't take the awful reviews on here personally! From all of us decent folk in Newton Aycliffe, THANK YOU
