Ramseys Camper Vans

CAMPERVAN VIRGINS! (ELAINE AND CARL) We had always fancied a life on the open road in a camper van and something that has been on our bucket list for a while; I did a lot of research into various companies and it was a friend who suggested Ramseys and their pricing etc was the best I had found and was even en-route to Scotland where we wanted to head from Suffolk. Everything was easy from start to finish c/o Elliott at Ramseys and we hired Walter who broke us in very gently and so much so we came away loving the whole campervan experience! We hired Walter for four nights and did not feel the need to stay in a camp site at all and found stunning places to stay and have pre prepared diner (the fridge worked very efficiently in keeping my prepared dishes fresh) the gas hob and facilities on board enabled lovely meals in stunning locations and when it was time to retire it was quick and effortless to prepare the bed and this was surprisingly comfortable. We had established that if we needed a shower we could have easily popped into a leisure centre to shower (lots of options en route). However we managed through to drop off day and found a leisure centre locally in Barnard Castle and had a shower etc for 2.50 before returning the van (of which I am sure Elliot was relieved lol!). Storage was excellent and we took so much stuff; too much - but Walter coped! Its all about getting in a routine ; and being someone who normally has to start the day with a hot shower and wash hair etc I managed and you could still have a hot wash down with hot water and a flannel. A couple of apps Flush and park4night were extremely useful especially the first! Hopefully wont be long to our next adventure!

Just had a fantastic road trip up to the Scottish Highlands in Lola. Had a great time and Lola was a dream to travel around in. Well presented and clean. Coped very well with some challenging gradients! Elliott was great to deal with and very helpful. Can't recommend Ramsey's Camper Vans enough and hope to be back! Long live The Lolacoaster!

Highly recommend Ramseys camper-vans. I hired Lola in March 2023. Collected it In immaculate condition and thoroughly enjoyed a trip to Scotland. Elliot was on the other end of a telephone should I have needed any assistance at all. Excellent value for money. I had a great time

I hired Earl for 7 days to take my 5 year old son on a road trip adventure and we had the best time. From start to finish the experience I had with Ramseys could not have been better and managing Earl for the duration of our holiday was simple. We can't wait to hire either Walter or Lola for our next adventure. Thank you Elliot, Earl and the team xx
