        Nice quite peaceful place to walk by yourself or with your dogs. It has adjoining field with BMX track set out which is well used by the local kids. About half a mile into the estate you have the general amenities with a pub, fish & Chip shop, indian restaurant, residant dentist, nursing home and a general shop of all sorts selling papers and maagazine. The area is generally well kept. On the other side of the road you have a walk that links the old and the new part of Aycliffe, stretching a couple of miles, in the summer its fresh air is refreshing, so walking that way can be a joy. Nice area to visit.
