Salamander Stoves - Small Wood Burning Stoves

Bought a Hobbit stove direct from Salamander for our conservatory. Went for the optional stand and rear flue wedge. Arrived very well packaged and build quality is great. Fitter remarked on speed of response when he contacted company with a query on the flue. In the end we didnt use the rear flue wedge and Salamander have agreed to refund me for it. Stove burns really nicely and is easily controlled. For a stove with such a small footprint it chucks out some heat. Top customer service and great family firm.

We bought a Hobbit stove from Salamander on recommendation. The pre purchase sales advice and after service have been first class, I cannot speak too highly of the team. We love our wee Hobbit it heats the hut, our kettle and is perfect for cheese toasties. Ours is a small hut so we took the advice of having a direct air system fitted, it works perfectly. The extra option of heat shields enabled us to site it closer to the corner. All in all we are delighted as I am sure you would be.

We have found The Hobbit SE to be very efficient. It not only heats the front room it's in, but also hall, stairs and landing, despite the high ceilings. Highly recommended.

The design, quality and heat output of this little stove are marvellous. We were unwilling to lose our Victorian tiled fire surround; the Hobbit is the perfect replacement for our previous open fire and we dont miss the large open drafty chimney.
