Gems Taxis

Was new to town and the driver was really nice and patient. Made my journey back really easy.

taxi turned up over an hour late. we phoned to find out where it was to be told it had broken down and they were sending another taxi and it would be 5 minutes. we phoned again after 20 minutes to find out where it was to be told it would be ten minutes. in the end it was over an hour late and when it arrived it didnt have enough seats for my family. The taxi driver had no idea of our destination really awful service, would not bother again with this company.

Spoke to a man from gems taxis for a taxi from Bristol airport to newton abbot, took him 2 days to get the boss (Gem) to call me to tell me he can do it, then offered me a different price to what I was offered before so said hed find the person who gave me that price and get back to me, not a single phone call back, so I called back and spoke to the man I spoke to originally and said Id pay the price that gem said as long as they are there on time, as I was about to board our flight I rang again to double check that they would be there. We arrived back to Bristol, rang gems 10 minutes in advance which they asked me to do so they didnt have to pay the parking fee, which I did and they told me no one was there, spoke to the original man again who said he would ring Gem as hes supposed to be doing the journey and rang me back to say it wasnt booked as he had no flight numbers or anything which I gave to them at the time of booking. Honestly fuming. A very unreliable taxi firm will not ever use them or recommend them to anybody. Service: Limousines
