Optimax Laser Eye Surgery - Newton Abbot

Utterly stunning procedure. Had a cataract removed and lens replaced in left eye on Monday midday. A little bit sore that evening, but by midday Tuesday no pain or soreness at all and vision clear and heading pretty much back to perfect. Whole process was very well managed, all staff incredibly helpful and friendly, and everything explained well at every stage of the process. Everyone very competent, surgeon (Ms R Kamal) obviously well-practised at this procedure. Actual process painless, not even discomforting, and all done in about five minutes. Pre- and post- op consultations excellent and all questions or worries dealt with expertly. If this sounds like I'm gushing - I am! Very, very impressed. Other eye due to be done in June. I'll probably need new reading glasses, but I can already see perfectly well for normal/distance without my old glasses, and that's the first time since I was about 15 (71 now). Oh yes, and all this on the NHS with very little waiting time - wonderful! Thank you, Optimax.

I have recently had cataract surgery at Optimax Newton Abbot, I cannot rate them high enough, they were excellent, surgeon Radua Kamal is a kind caring and approachable person, my grateful thanks to her. Also special thanks to nurse Bridget, So kind and understanding.

The team at optimax Newton Abbott have been professional, approachable, friendly and accommodating throughout my entire experience I spent my time researching different companies before having LASIK surgery and the team at Newton Abbott were incredibly thorough, never pushy or salesy - but always delivered the best service I would recommend only them to anybody considering eye surgery
