Absolutely the worst company we have rented from we have rented from this company now for 5 years and had poor repairs done. On-going issues with our neighbours and yet you cannot get through to anyone. When you call them they do not have the respect to contact you back. We are trying to find alternative accommodation away from this company.

Ive lived with my mother in a 2 bed flat since 2019 being her carer. After she died in January I was told I should be able to have succession. Did everything I was told and was rejected because I am a single person. So I informed Teign that a friend who is also struggling with housing would be happy to live with me, using the extra bedroom. This would solve the only problem Teign had with me staying. This has been rejected with no reasoning by Karen (despite the tenancy agreement stating that a close family member can have succession if they had lived there for at least 12 months prior to the death). I was then lied to and told it was the councils fault - which the council then denied as Teign is the landlord and the tenancy agreement came from them. Not only am I now struggling with mental health, PTSD and therapy, grieving my mother, but now been given an Order to Quit and am facing eviction stuck in housing limbo as Teign will not find me other suitable accommodation. I am not in a position to make big decisions regarding this due to my mental state. I have always and will always pay my rent on time. Teign has not been clear, honest, compassionate or in any way helpful, and have made the hardest time in my life unsurvivable.
