Since the son has taken over the business, they have become arrogant and unhelpful. Not like the old man at all. After using for nearly 20 years, I will never be going back.

I took a mcculloch petrol strimmer with a snapped cord here a year or so ago and one of the guys started shouting and swearing saying these machines are impossible to fix. When I turned away to leave he apologised and offered to fix it saying it wasnt the stupidly hard one. It was duly fixed at a reasonable price in the end. I ring up again and must have spoken to mr anti-mcculloch again. By the time hes explained that its probably too much to fix anyway, I lose interest first. I cant be bothered with this same attitude so I shall go elsewhere.

Took my petrol strimmer in at 1:30 today was told a couple of days to fix, I was happy with this. Two and a half hours later I got a call saying it was ready, its never run so well, great service and value, highly recommend...

I recently purchased a used scag from this dealer. I used the machine once and had to take it to a dealer to see what was wrong with it. It had a la k of power when the blades were switched on. It was like the belts were over tightened Upon examination by a scag trained mechanic. The engine showed signs of overheating, The valves were not properly operating due to expanding if the valve sleeve. This had caused a bent push rod. Upon further examination with removal of the cylinder head it showed the head had been of and had been refitted using liquid gasket Not what you would expect from a dealer Called the dealer who hit all defensive and no offer to take it back and look at it be totally defensive and not someone I would deal with again I am taking this to trading standards in the hope of some satisfaction. I am a main contractor and would have continued to purchase machine from him had he been a bit more customer oriented. I would recommend that everyone stay away from the dealer. No back up or consideration for other customers
