Very rude examiner,Laurence Dunkley, raised his voice to me during the test, made me very nervous then only spoke to my instructor about my results. He was waving his arms around in disgust when I made a mistake and I believe discriminated against me because I have adhd. I have complained to DVSA but they do nothing. I can see other people are having the small problem with him by looking at the reviews. I do not know how he is still in the job and believe he could cause an accident with his behaviour. He then lied through his teeth about what happened. I have not driven since my test and it has made me very nervous. Very bad experience. Would not recommend.

My name is Sam and I do not have Gmail so I am writing this on my partners account. I have had over 20+ hours of driving lessons and experience in my own car, I can say that I am generally really comfortable and confident behind the wheel of my own Mini hatchback. My brother two weeks before me traveled from London in my car to do his driving test here and he passed and he had really positive comments about his examiner. I was nervous and excited for my test (naturally), I travelled over 200 miles to do it. I drove all around this area with my dad next to me for hours to familiarise myself as much as possible. My driving was so relaxed and I was performing to the best of my ability. I also studied the available test routes in the area. However my test went horribly wrong, hill starting requires confidence and concentration even from experienced drivers who do not have to hill start to this extent daily. My examiner (the oldest chap) was making me feel so uncomfortable in my own car right from the start. His mannerisms and gestures from the start included the following, shrugging - sighing - tutting, this was throughout the whole test. He also raised his voice as me multiple times. With all this I regret to say that I could no longer drive safely and confidently in my own car. I felt like he found a weakness of mine and played with it. I do not believe that examiners have the right to make you feel uncomfortable on your test journey. They should stay as neutral and professional as possible. As I said at the beginning, I know with my experience I can drive. I live right next to the city of London its challenging enough here. Very disappointed and I feel like Ive wasted a lot of time, money and self confidence.
