        What lovely welcome on a wet, windy morning and superb breakfast - French toast with crispy bacon and maple syrup, excellent coffee - while waiting with my grandson for Austin's toy shop to open. He chose Rocky road for his breakfast! Great start to the day. Thank you

        We love the wholesome hippo, not only is it great for visiting for a quiet coffee and lunch but they have a room around the back with a small play area for the children. So you can enjoy your coffee hot. The food and cake is always delicious and fresh and very reasonably priced . The staff are so friendly and welcoming. As a customer I always feel welcomed. My children really enjoy coming here. Thank you.

        Absolutely love this place! Took the kids in over the weekend and couldnt ask for a more welcoming place! The staff were incredibly friendly, I had a coffee and cake which were just amazing! Homemade cakes cant be beaten! Kids loved it there with a playroom around the back! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to go with little ones or with even without! Kid-friendliness: Incredibly kid friendly, kids loved every minute!
