        Fabulous place. Great friendly, attentive host who made the best freshly cooked to order breakfast, with the best quality ingredients. Our room was excellent, scrupulously clean and comfortable. A guest sitting room was available if we wished. The offer of chilling a bottle of wine and nice wine glasses if we wanted. We visited the local pub, which was recommended by her. It was great.

        Charlotte is a delightful host, nothing was too much trouble! Hartree is a stunning house set in beautiful gardens. We booked at the last minute & we're so glad we did as our stay was lovely. The Garden Room is generously sized, immaculately clean, with a super comfortable bed. As for the shower...small but AMAZING, with great water pressure (something you don't always get in guesthouses/B&Bs/hotels). Breakfast was delicious, scrambled eggs from the Hartree hens (who have the run of the gardens), toast, homemade conserves, cereal, tea/coffee & juice all served in the beautiful guest lounge/dining room. Thank you again Charlotte for accommodating us at such short notice!
