HSBC Bank

Honestly the staff are great. Needed help with my CTF as it was now a matured CTF and they done everything they could to help, they were patient and kind helpful staff. Also helped my set up a new type of savings account too. Friendly, reliable, approachable and just good staff in general! :)

This Bank is bloody ridiculous now! Why have they done away with the cashiers desk? Whats the point of actually bothering to have a Bank there???

Small,cramped and very warm.Air con either off or not working. Just one member of staff available,sitting on a stool in front of a lap top dealing with customer enquiries. There was a queue of people to the door. I decided that l had seen enough and made a quick exit. I will try the Paignton branch. In complete contrast the Lloyd's bank branch was cool,airy and not crowded.

Absolutely fantastic service. I wanted to pay in a couple of cheques but got an error when I put my card into the machine. I only needed to look confused for a split second before a staff member caught my eye and came straight over, very cheerfully, explained why it wasn't working (the machines haven't yet been set up to manage the First Direct Mastercards), filled in a paying in slip for me, entered it all into the machine, whilst also explaining why I hadn't been able to deposit the cheques through the app (apparently, if the back of a cheque is blank, you just have to write something on the back, for the app to capture, then it'll work!). Just well over and above the 'normal' customer service that so many places exhibit! Thank you. :-)
