Visited between Christmas and New Year, hoping to sort out an issue to do with a family Trust Fund set up with them many years ago. I expected that I would have to make an appointment and come back a few days later, but at the counter the assistant dealt with everything in a few minutes, as well as making photocopies of forms I'd completed AND sending the originals to the Edinburgh office in the internal mail so saving me a few pounds I would have had to pay for postage of a tracked/signed-for letter. Very impressed.

I've been a customer with Halifax for the last 16years. Everytime I've been to Newton I've found the staff very helpful. Have to give the member of staff that I'd from I'd say is from the North of England some credit always been very nice and friendly. I'd always say if you see a 1 star rating with no actual comment they are just haters.
