WOULDN'T USE. Never known a service like it. Apparently banking with Santander meant they couldn't make a BACS transfer once the property sale completed as it would take 7days? Instead they issued a cheque which couldn't get signed off on the Friday (completion day) it needs to be picked up on Monday and then clear. So buyer has keys to the house and no funds seen until a week later! Seems like they want to hold on to funds for as long as possible so their account gains interest. I can imagine if this happens to a lot of customers hundreds of thousands of pounds sat in their account each month instead of their customers would make a nice little earner in interest!
