The Croft Hotel

I would not be recommending this hotel to my worst enemies. Smells worst than Aston Hall. 250.00.for 3 nights we were given 2 TEA-BAG'S 2 COFFEE SACHETS 3 UHT MILK PODS. AND 4 SUGAR SACHETS. AS a STARTER PACK. 10p each or 20p each after that. It needs a really good clean. Also you got charged 25. If they find any cans or marks anywhere that's per can or per mark 20.00 for a lost key. Really old fashioned and lazy owners who are bad in bed with a backache and don't want you disturbing them.

Great location, very short walk to town centre, stayed 4 nights. Janet was quite rude when we arrived, quite abrupt and short, quite condescending too, "you're going to listen to me, as i know males don't listen to females". bed was comfy and spacious. there was a man's razor on the floor in the room and a half empty bottle of water in a draw, along with dusty sides and lamp shades. never saw Clive. Janet was nice when we were leaving, nice and chatty. Parked on the street opposite.

Upon arrival we was greeted by the woman moaning at us about where to park as the so called parking is none existent.. I went over to check in while i left my partner to figure out where to park and she was incredibly rude, taking down to me and saying how incompetent me and my partner is. the smell of cigarettes and wet dog hits you the second you walk in. Got into our room and the room was dirty. Used earbuds in the bathroom. The blankets on the side tables was covered in mould. Black stuff come out of the tap so we did not feel comfortable having a tea/coffee/water. As we was leaving today, another couple that was just arriving was having the same issue with parking and she stood at the door, hands on her hips, shaking her head and being very rude and abrupt to them. I wish we read the reviews about this place before we booked because she clearly has no respect for the paying customers.
