        We visited this hotel to use its restaurant for a group meal whilst staying at the Porth Beach campsite. Our meal was really good and several of us chose the liver and bacon with mustard mash, carrots and tenderstem broccoli, amazing and not often a menu option. The hotel was closed, possibly closed down for good as the building is currently up for sale!

        The room was small but nice. The bed was comfy. We arrived about 6.30 pm and did not feel very welcome there because the lady who was there was little bit confused and not so friendly. The breakfast was so disappointing. Huge plate with small portion of food. I made my own toast from frozen bread. There was a nice board offering light lunch, but anytime we asked for it, the staff said the kitchen is closed now. The carpet was covered with animal hair. The sea view is beautiful but this does not compensates the bad service.
