Never having arranged a funeral before, I had no idea where to start except get a Funeral Director. In finding Laura Henwood I hit gold. Laura makes arranging a funeral effortless, which is so appreciated at such a difficult time. From the first meeting where she explained how the system worked and asked us what we wanted, we knew we were in good hands. She is thorough, efficient and patient when you are not sure of the answer to questions and you need to reflect. She guided us beautifully through the whole process, helping us get the minister we wanted, sort the flowers, find the music, produce the order of service and she was always on hand with good practical advice. Thank you Laura, for making a difficult time so much easier and helping us give Dad a funeral he would have enjoyed.

My partner's funeral was scheduled for Friday 18th February 2022. The day storm Eunice hit. It got cancelled 1hrs before it was due to start. Laura Henwood went above & beyond the call of duty to make sure the funeral went ahead, albeit at another crematorium, because people had traveled from all over the country to be here. Throughout my whole dealing with the Henwood family they have shown the utmost in professionalism, treated us with respect & compassion & been absolutely fantastic. Laura even sat with my 15yr old daughter & designed the coffin to her exact specifications. I would definitely recommend these lovely people as they are total professionals & treat every client with the same caring, special touch. Thank you so much for making Michelle's final journey one we could all remember fondly. Many thanks the Elford & Burton families.

You are always on hand and deal with every request speedily and accurately. We couldn't have asked for a better service and even more so better people than you both.
