        Lovely location with great views over the countryside from the beer garden. We visited before lunchtime on a Tuesday following bank holiday. Asked if we were eating said unsure, told that all tables were booked. We were sent to sit alone in adjacent bar on a sofa, chose the little round table near fireplace hoping we would be allowed there. Felt like I had been sent to sit on the naughty step. Left at 12:30 to go and find somewhere to eat. Dining area with sofa was still empty. Only one ale on so no choice.

        Faultless service, fabulous choices on the menu, our food was totally amazing. Our first visit tonight but won't be our last, the pavlova was exceptional!!!!
