We were wanting our house re-rendered and wanted someone skilled to re-do the pargeting, which is a decorative finish found on old Essex houses. Duncan came highly recommended. I have to say he is excellent at what he does. He is a perfectionist and I am delighted with the job he has done. I couldn't be happier. He is fantastic at what he does-the best in the business. It looks lovely and is exactly what I wanted. People stop and compliment the work. It has made such a difference to our house. Thank you, Duncan!

Fed up with being messed around. Hes cost us hundreds of pounds for scaffolding to just sit there. Booked him well over 4 weeks ago, he agreed to do the job but hes only managed to work one half day, thats it. Weve had to chase him and nag him constantly only to hear excuses or be ignored completely. Weve lost sleep over it and even had rows about him. He finally admits today hes too busy to complete the job in one go - can only manage a day here and there. Well one day every 4 weeks is not good enough when the job will take two solid weeks to complete. Will find someone more reliable. Do not recommend Duncan Higgins at all - hes will mess you around and ultimately let you down.

Mr Higgins had been recommended to me by a friend and its is a small family run business. He plastered my extension and it was an unbelievably smooth finish. He was professional and tidy at all times. I would highly recommend him.

Many thanks to the guys at Higgins plastering. This is the second property , that they have worked on for us. After plastering the majority of our first house, to a very high standard. We asked them to come round and quote when we moved in to our new place. This time round they also rendered the outside of our house as well as plastering every wall inside ( it was only supposed to be a loft extension ). The finish is great and they are some of the tidiest tradesmen weve ever used. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Very impressed with the work carried out on the kitchen ceiling to put in an RSJ prior to us having a new height adjustable bath fitted in the upstairs wet room/bathroom. They worked efficiently and ensured that the noise was kept to a minimum to reduce any disturbance . They ensured that they cleared up at the end of their working day and when they had completed the job which was achieved within a week as their was a deadline for the bath to be fitted.
