Worst experience trying to get a job with this company , was told I had the job , 6 weeks later still waiting for an dbs check , managed to get another job with another company with a dbs back with in 48 hours , HR recruitment team seem extremely incompetent , extremely unprofessional staff , rude , obnoxious, wouldnt trust this company to look after my dog. And These people are responsible to provide care and support to clients. Stay clear

I have found Newcross to be friendly, helpful, reliable, trustworthy and not least I don't doubt there is a huge amount of work behind the scenes to give people like me lots of varied work putting me in contact with many many amazing lovely people service users and staff alike and so enriching my life (I hope I am enriching their lives also) and they're still smiling

worked for newcross for two months and the whole process was amazing waiting for the dbs not so much but im loving the hour flexibility they understand my daughter just became very ill and may need surgery also

I applied for a job as a nurse with Newcross and was very keen to begin. I was fortunate enough to gain an interview and on that day I made sure to have a haircut, dress smartly and book the day off to ensure a smooth process for my interview. I logged on to my interview a few minutes before the actual time and.. waited. This waiting process lasted 20 minutes until I decided to call due to my interviewer being 20 minutes late. The head office told me they will look into it and I continued waiting an extra 20 minutes, at this point turning off the camera and microphone to do some washing up so the time wasn't entirely wasted, until I finally closed the interview. Surely it was an oversight I thought, a large company must have mistakes along the way. So I called a day later and as before, the call handler was surprised it happened and assured me they will look into it. So I gave it a week, at this point feeling quite defeated after asking my current job for references and then having to explain the humiliating process of my potential new employer ghosting me and hoping we can all brush it under the carpet. I called a final time and they strongly assured me it would go to their manager to find out what happened, no new interview has been offered at this point, and I left it there. A month later I figured calling wasn't working, so I put a support ticket through, as that leaves a paper trail they can't ignore. Well, so I thought... I got no reply there. So unfortunately, this review is a lovely one star, because the company showed me a lack of communication, lack of management and a very clear lack of interview skills as my interviewer didn't even appear. Newcross have proven that you don't need to be on Tinder to get ghosted. I hope future applicants have more luck, or at least an interviewer.
