Newport Windows & Doors

Had a window installed by these cowboys when they were called Abbey, now they're called Newport Windows etc but it's exactly the same people, the same address, same everything just a 'new' name. Window handle has now started to need repair as coming very loose & unable to be fixed with normal DIY, and as we bought it under the Abbey name, they now claim it's nothing to do with them as they are 'completely different company' . . . . . Utter rob-dogs, do not buy anything from them. AVOID AVOID AVOID. If you do buy something, give it 12mths and they'll have another new name and be completely unaccountable for the poor workmanship & terrible products.

Requested a quote but after three weeks have had no response, not even an acknowledgement! Have gone to another company and have had a quote and date for survey within a short space of time. Have had quite a lot of work done by NW&D in the past and have been satisfied.

Cannot stress enough how frustrating the process from start to finish has been! They quoted 5/6 weeks delivery. 3 months later a fitting date was given. Made a complete hash of all 8 Windows. Apparently, it was our fault for not telling them how to do it. In the end that's exactly what we did. We insisted the windows were removed and done again. The finished product is ok, but what a nightmare experience. No pride taken in the work and the site left a mess with materials including sharp metal pieces, screws, empty packets etc thrown on floor outside and in. A high price for a shoddy job.

From order to the finished job, the service has been Excellent. Nothing is too much trouble for the team of fitters. They made sure I was happy before they left and kept checking with me during the fitting that I was ok with what they were doing. They are a real nice bunch of lads which makes it easy to do business with. I would highly recommend Newport Windows and will be using them for some other work I need doing.
