Lovely old Guildhall meeting room, atmospheric location for a friend's wedding service. On first floor, and while there is a starlit available wheelchair access is limited because of space and very narrow doorways.

We don't come to Newport very often we are currently living out of the area but we normally love coming here but now your towns been blighted by car parking charges. We park in the same car park every time and I must add we didn't spot one ticket machine or sign or any where to pay so when I got a 60 fine my wife's hairdresser appointment visits to the shops and our meal it became a very expensive day out! The car parking charge was issued by UKPC so I suspect them and other's within Newport Town Council are catching many people out and making alot of money. To add insult to injury you can only appeal by letter and if you do not pay within a certain time its 100 fine then I tried calling Newport Town Council and I was on the phone for 45 minutes! With no response whatsoever. Disappointed with Newport so I doubt we will vist Newport again
