Southern Vectis Ltd

Great service considering its the only service on the island. Some drivers are friendly but why charge 6 for a child day pass when I could pay 3.20 in Southampton and they are part of the same organization? I also know that lots of people need service 4 and keeping the timetable to a low frequency service causes people to get the 5 & 9 just to get into Ryde! The 4 is the worst effected. Why not just make it every half an hour than hour?

Travelled on many Southern Vectis Buses whilst on holiday a few weeks ago. The scenery on the routes was amazing, especially the Needles Breezer. Buses are nice and clean, most have USB chargers and next stop announcements which is useful if you arent too sure where you are going!

Their system of online student verification is strange. I submitted a valid student card for Exeter, a national university in UK. However they somewhy rejected this! I was lucky cause I first landed on Ryde which has their travel centre to get verified face-to-face, but what if I attempted to start journey at Yarmouth or Cowes
