My phone dropped so the back and front got cracked, they offered to repair it in 7 days which was done but... Display was recognized as fake, battery recognized as fake, camera lens scratched, phone body scratched. After raising the issue they offered a warranty repair, another 7 days! I said fine. In the meanwhile until the phone was collected I dropped it into the bath so water damage... only a replacement can be offered for 100 which is also ok since its my mistake and hey, that's why we have insurance right? Not really, fun starts now!!!!
The collection of the damaged phone supposed to be cancelled, IT DIDNT! so my brother handed over the phone to the driver which happily collected it. Now the second driver that will come with my phone tomorrow hasn't got anything to pick up in exchange for the new. You might think, easy solve. Get likewize to call DPD and sort it out since is their mistake, guess more... it goes against their "policy" not to pick up the damaged phone and advised me to wait another few days for the damaged phone to get to them, then send it back to me, which I will have to give to the driver upon collection of the new phone sometime in the future, are you mad??
In my previous experience which took me about 6 months to get a new phone as a result of being lost... The customer service is apposing, so the financial ombudsman put them in the right place which I will reach out again! Please don't insure anything with them trough the banks, its just not worth the hussle.
