This hotel treads the fine line between having character and needing a redecoration. I had a small double room with a single occupancy and it was definitely prepared for only one person. One small towel, two pillows on one side of the bed. The window was over the bed and with an injured knee I had to crawl across the bed to close the curtains which weren't connected to the ends of the rail. Some old stained furniture and the sheets were so dry and starched they felt like canvas. I was disappointed in the stay as it cost 100 for which I could have had a more comfortable stay in the Premier Inn down the road and quite honestly I could get better in central London. It's a real shame as the Manager was lovely.
