I've visited this dentist as an NHS patient since I was a child and since covid I've not needed to go which I thought was a good thing. However Baxters now are not taking any new NHS patients nor accepting any pre existing patients that haven't been for an examination since 2019. They didn't message me to say you need to attend to keep your NHS status valid which is a real shame. Just another dentist jumping on the private gravy train. Very nice women on reception was very helpful but ultimately they have failed me as a patient. Edit: Hi thanks for such a fast response. I did receive 12 messages suggesting a checkup but no where in these messages did it state that I would lose my nhs status with you. Considering my wife and both children still see you regularly you could have pressumed otherwise. Either way your presumption has cost me. Perhaps moving forward, a phone call or a message that wasn't automatically generated could be made? Less presumption and more educated decision making?
