        Really happy to get a room here. Not much of a horse racing fan myself. But the history of this place is undeniable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. If a little stuffy and warm with the thick duvet and pillows. Breakfast was of outstanding quality, with a good range of well prepared cooked breakfasts. Noteworthy details: Lots of racing memorabilia lying around. And paintings and photos of the royalty and such adorning the walls.
