        Visited the Newmarket branch yesterday and I'm very impressed by the service I received. I was opening a new account and had to provide some further information and it was really easy. The branch manager James sorted everything out, and even went as far to help me set up my online banking and went through how it all works with the app. Very happy and now all ready to go!

        Have a complaint running about a payment that was made incorrectly by this branch and now found out that on a Saturday they may be open but don't actually have a counter service. Just 1 member of staff in branch doing meetings and stuff I guess and an automated machine. Wish this wasn't my local branch but now I've managed to download app I hopefully won't need to visit often. HSBC phone staff were helpful though and obviously the bonus for switching accounts to them was very good and paid in swiftly.
