Eurotraveller Hotel Express (E & C) Southwark

Quite a basic hotel, having said that, there was nothing wrong with my room but just didnt seem very good value for 136 for one night (especially taking into account the location). Small double room had hardwood floor and no soft furnishings. Overall, quite an austere feel. Renovations underway (April 2023) on lower floors. I think my room had already been refurbished !

Rooms: Neat and clean with essential stuff such as fridge, hair dryer,Tv, hot water Nearby activities: There are a lot of tourist places nearby such as tower bridge, London bridge, tower of London, and the borough market, which all are 30 minutes away from the hotel. Moreover, there are many cafes and cuisines within walking distance. Safety: Walworth police station is on the opposite side of the hotel.

Worst stay ever, in the middle of December the structure had a fault (as they say) that did not allow you to have the radiator turned on in the room and No Hot Water, so no possibility to wash or warm up (apart from a very small heater). We were told all the time that they were working to fix the fault, Clearly it wasn't true .So for two days (total of our stay) returning to the hotel cold and tired we never had the opportunity to take a hot shower or have a heated room. Shameful. For the rest, the structure is really poor.
