We decided to do a photo shoot five years after the big day to celebrate what we look like now. Our original photographer had moved away, so we searched for someone new. We wanted someone who specialised in couple photography but whose style was a bit different to the boring old normal. Liza was perfect. She was great to work with and she sent a ton of great photos well within the agreed timeline.

We selected Liza to be the photographer at our wedding earlier this year and are absolutely delighted that we did so. She has provided us with the most wonderful photographic memories of our special day. Her attention to detail, clarity of communication before and after the day and her ability to make two people who are somewhat camera-shy feel so comfortable being photographed were incredibly beneficial to us, but above all the quality and beauty of the images she took means we would not hesitate to recommend Liza to anyone looking to hire a top quality photographer for their wedding or any other special event. We originally booked Liza in 2020 but due to Covid restrictions we postponed our wedding on two occasions. Throughout this difficult time, Liza was incredibly understanding and flexible of the situation. During this time she arranged a couples shoot up on the South Downs for us, which gave us the opportunity to get used to how she works, helped us feel more comfortable in front of the camera, as well as to see the quality of her work. In the run up to our big day, Liza was in regular communication with us, helping us to understand how things would work on the day from a photography point of view, asking us about our family and friends to help her cover the day better, as well as giving us lots of really helpful little general tips from her experience of covering weddings. During the big day, Liza was with us covering the period before the ceremony, as we got ready, all the way through to the end of the evening reception and entertainment. Throughout the day, she made all our guests feel at ease with her warm, friendly manner, and happy to take additional photos that people requested. But she was also unobtrusive at the key moments, such as the ceremony itself, but still managing to get wonderful images. Liza has provided us with an incredible visual record of our special day. Not just the photographs themselves (and there were many photographs!) but a wonderful high quality album that tells the story of the day from start to finish. We couldnt have chosen a better photographer and cant recommend her highly enough.
