Chapel Street Surgery

After needing an emergency prescription due to the pharmacy having the wrong brand only, I come to find the GP cancelled my repeat prescription; resulting in my being off my meds for nearly a week. The phones are not open at 8 like the practice says. My mirena insertion was humiliating and excruciatingly painful, not to mention telling my partner "she doing this for you, ya know" while I'm crying and unable to point out that he tried to talk me out of it for 2 weeks prior.

Poor medical service, slow to respond to medical patient requiring accessment, don't get back to you after saying they will, have to chase continuously and rude, unhelpful, lazy uninterested staff. Who just don't care.....

Moved here from another surgery and they have been delightful. You rarely have to wait very long in the waiting room and the staff are friendly and helpful. Also proactive, as writhing 2 weeks of joining, they provided a bowel cancer screening test without me asking which my other surgery completely failed to do.

Registered last week as move to the area, registration form had been misplaced and apparently was sitting on a desk for 5 days before being entered into system. Unable to book a blood test due to delays in admin stuff uploading registration information. Finally booked blood test and it was cancelled. Tried to call back and rebook a blood test 40 times and didn't get through. Finally got through an hour later and they said they didn't have any appointments other than 9am ones so I said I will register with another surgery. I am ill and stressed and still unable to access medical treatment, 2 weeks has been added to my wait time due to the incompetence and poor timing in handling my (straightforward) registration. Waste of all our time.
