Great shop. Always find deals in here! Just need to open more checkouts! Queues are crazy. ******* On this visit today sadly we had one of the most unbelievably bad experiences in this store. Saturday afternoon, busy in the store and there are stock trollies blocking almost every aisle, frozen section half empty. Got what we needed and there are two checkouts open and queues down the aisles. Customers building up around the tills waiting and asking the staff to open another till and being completely ignored. Never seen anything like it before. Embarrassing for the non existent manager I hope. I tried explaining the situation to our casier when we finally got to the point of paying and he completely blanked me. Was wearing a face mask but pretty sure it wasn't covering his ears when explaining my points yet zero response. This is by far the worst Lidl I've been in and is damaging to the brand after that performance. Everyone around us was in disbelief. I over heard one lady ask a member of staff to open another till, the response was 'yea in a minute' and then the girl walked off shaking her head with raised eyebrows... Got to improve this shambles of a store lidl... 3 stars removed and I hate leaving bad reviews but this was appalling. I would have walked out if it wasn't for being made to stay by the other half. Chronically poor service. I'm sure you will have lost repeat business from most in there at that time.
