        I like this Pub. Good food and service, but during the day always seems quiet. Problem; one never knows if its open, it closes Mondays and the kichen not always open .... i guess it Ok if you tend to use a Pub on a Friday or Saturday evening, but as we use Pubs mid-week lunch/afternoons it a pain...

        Just had Sunday lunch there and OMG it was amazing!!! Properly crispy roast potatoes and perfectly rare beef. Excellent service and such good value. Wouldnt think twice about going again! Thank you!!!

        1st January 2023. Having had some rather disappointing roasts at various pubs in North Herts recently I am very pleased to say that we finally found a place that bucks the trend. Excellent meal today at The Crown. Nice log fire, friendly staff, lovely fresh vegetables and thoroughly recommended.
