Best sausage rolls I've ever tasted. excellent value I found myself hungry in Newent last week, and had a feeling I'd be able to find something nice & a cut above the usual fare. This butchers proved me correct. The chap behind the counter told me they were doing two for one on the sausage rolls, so I bought a couple of the standard and venison ones. Walking back to my car I bit into one and was amazed. Yes, it was the best sausage roll I've had. I went and bought 4 more. The standard price is 1.50 each which makes them very good value at full price, so I got a very good bargain there. I will definitely be back. I'll give their pies a go next. Good, courteous & friendly service too.

Sorry to break up the party here. Patient and helpful staff but less than top quality products. Better and cheaper meat products available at supermarkets. I write this with sadness as I would happily pay a premium to support a high quality local independent butcher.

Amazing butchery services. Nothing is too much hassle and always happy to help with cooking times and advice. The meat is always of the highest quality and if you need a show stopper for a dinner party or special occasion, they can help. Check out the joint they cut for me for a dinner party!
