James came out to give a quote for a log burner was very informative price was similar to other quotes but felt at ease no pushing for us to go with him he went through the process of what he would do giving us options as to when the fireplace was opened up what could be done the 1st day they knocked the fireplace old liner out put the lintel and hearth in and fitted out the opening with fire boards 2nd day they fitted the flue and a new chimney pot on then James plastered the wall and fitted the stove he then went through the process of the first few burns we had to do he also told us any problems to just contact him and he would go through what we were doing wrong we are so pleased we went with Carlton Stoves 5 star

James and all at Carlton stoves were great. We called in to take a look after deciding to have a burner fitted and they were so very helpful. The quote provided was the same price as others but they provided so much more detail and much better specifications than others who were vague and left more questions - picking James was an easy decision. The day of the work came and James and Chris worked tirelessly for a couple of days - from early on to late evening to get the job done. The work involved opening up the space and removing an old plaster fire surround, and a bunch of very questionable things that had been done over the years. They were great, so friendly and hard working. I cannot recommend them enough, nothing was too much effort and we are very happy with the final result.

I highly recommend if you are looking for a log burner, look no further. James and Chris came to our home and worked solidly for two days to give us our wonderful burner. We are so happy with it. Nothing was a bother to them and helpful all the way through from start to finish. Im so glad we decided to use this company.
