I booked hire of a mini excavator and dumper for a weekend (not cheap) and they happily took my booking and my money. THE DAY BEFORE delivery I was informed that they had agreed to let an existing customer extend their hire so they could no longer fulfill my booking.
By this point I had booked time off work, booked a skip and paid for hired in plant insurance. The depot manager kept asking what I wanted him to do about it!
