Such a lovely restaurant! Adriano has made a delightful oasis in my village of Gosforth If ever I want to treat my friends and family, or just myself, I come to Adrianos Fortuna and I am transported into a happy place Lovely atmosphere, pleasant surroundings, always full of happy people. Delicious food , excellent wine, really nice staff. Ive never had any complaints. Thoroughly recommend it ! I had the delicious Linguine Scoglio with the Verdiccio wine

Seemed promising but sour taste left in mouth. We were really excited to make Adriano's a regular place to go for food, as the food and portions were very reasonable. The place itself was also very nice. One time we visited to try the lunch menu offer. We weren't that hungry so were very clear with the waiter we wanted to share one menu between two, and this seemed to be okay. The waiter gave the impression that the pasta was included as part of the meal - we even double checked with him. Until when it came to paying the bill and it was double what it should have been. We queried and got a dismissive "no... no, no no..." and a "I suppose the menu should be clearer then". Stupid on the waiter though, we were planning on becoming regulars. If you didn't want us to share the cost of one menu you could have just said from the beginning, but misleading us into paying another 10 has put us off.
