I wanted to say a big thank you to the two nice ladies at Groom and Co who very kindly and quickly altered a pair of trousers for a wedding. Great service and friendly too

Did a fantastic job of some last minute alterations to my wedding suit. A lovely team, who provided quality service from start to finish.

I had a bad experience with groom and co at my wedding dress fitting. The seamstress doing the alterations was very abrupt with me and was barking orders at me. When my dress was on and pinned and I was walking around in the shop, I was told I couldnt walk in my wedding dress and I needed to do better. I confronted the staff in the shop as it was making me feel very uncomfortable and it was supposed to be an enjoyable experience. I was very upset by the whole thing. My wedding dress fit fine on my wedding day which is the only saving grace. The staff are rude and belittling and its very overpriced. If I had my time again I would go elsewhere for sure. Then after everything the company then contacted me to ask if I wanted my wedding dress cleaned, no thank you.

Never signed any terms and conditions, had to move my first fitting several times due to covid. My deposit was often forgotten about and I had to give several reminders which concerned me. Only opted for this seamstress as that's who the bridal shop advised. On my first fitting I attended with my friend and her baby. Greeted with a stinking attitude from the very beginning. Was told they couldn't come in and would have to wait outside. I was always of the understanding that my dress would need taking out. Dress was a fit and flare style and was difficult to get in, the staff claimed the dress was 5 inches too small across the back, (just the back nowhere else) there was nothing they could do and to buy a new dress. I asked if it was possible to insert a panel at the back as I was not sold on the new dress idea. We agreed to explore the idea of a corset in the back and I left my dress with them. Was never given any indication of cost whatsoever. I sought a second opinion from a seamstress in my own town who advised me to bring the dress to her, I collected the dress after what felt like a very frosty meet with two staff interigating me as to why I wanted the dress back. The new seamstress discovered that the dress needed let out by 2 inches not 5 and the figure of 5 inches was as a result of GOJ not having the dress sit flush on my waist but rather at my hips. I kept the original dress, had all alterations done and no need for any corset or panelling in the dress whatsoever. I question whether GOJ are just lacking in ability in terms of skill or if there is something more sinister in terms of money making.

Needed my waist coat taking in for my sisters wedding, contacted Groom & Co, had the fitting on the same day and it was ready for me to pick up 2 days later on the morning of my sisters wedding. They made it available earlier than usual and the waistcoat fitted perfectly. Thank you too the Ladies in Groom & Co, you saved me from a possibly angry bride
