The ambiance was delightful and the staff was courteous, providing exceptional service and demonstrating a sincere interest in explaining the menu. While the cuisine was pleasant, we found the portion sizes to be excessively small relative to the prices we were aware of prior to our arrival. Despite ordering seven small plates between two people and individual desserts, we still felt hungry upon returning home. Additionally, a discretionary 12% service charge was added to our bill. Overall, while the food and service were admirable and the surroundings pleasant, we found the establishment to be overpriced. While I would recommend trying it once, we personally will not be returning, mainly due to the high cost. Parking: on roadside.

One of the best meals Ive had in a long time. The flavour combinations were ingenious, and while the menu is varied, it feels like you could order any combination of plates and they would work well together. The cocktails were delicious, too.

One of the best restaurants in Newcastle. Lovely atmosphere, fantastic service, and fabulous food. Its all small(ish) plates so getting a selection to share is the way to go. Also have a great wine selection. They dont have many tables inside so is worth booking to guarantee a space.
