Production Room

If you're wondering if you should work with Lisa, the answer is definitely yes! I sent her through some stems that I'd recorded at home to mix. She was really approachable and friendly and made sure she knew what I wanted out of the track before she started working. She even made a string arrangement for the song after chatting through what my visions for it were, which made such a big difference! It went from something that I'd recorded at home for my own records to a recording that I'd be proud to let people hear. I wouldn't hesitate to work with her again. For my debut single, Used To Be, I worked at Production Room alongside the amazing Lisa Murphy back in October 2020. At first, I didnt expect much but thats the magic of Production Room. Once you enter, its like a Narnia of music production. The equipment was top of the notch, and theyre forever improving their roster of microphones, instruments and plugins. Id highly recommend The Production Room to anyone!

Absolute pleasure working with Lisa. Having been really disappointed by 3 studios near me in York I tentatively contacted Lisa & we discussed the project & arranged a Covid enforced unattended mix for one of the tracks from the new album .. sending Wav stems over tbh I wasnt convinced an unattended mix session was a good idea but Lisa made me feel comfortable & at ease & so we forged ahead. Its ALWAYS nervy when working with a new mix engineer but it was immediately apparent that she got where I was going with the track & after a couple of rough mixes back n forth , me sending mix notes to tweak levels, balance, panning & EQ etc it worked an absolute treat & Rocketships & Angels was born .. Im a bit of a control freak & my attention to detail can be irritating but Lisa indulged & took on board absolutely every thought & nuance & the mix is perfect .. Not only that but a lovely surprise was the additionsl mastered mixes for radio, social media & an instrumental all for what was a VERY reasonable cost for a very professional & quick service .. ill Be using Lisa for mixes of the rest of the album ..
