My 88 year old mother has 11 items delivered regularly and has difficulty swallowing. One of the items comes in two forms one oblong and film coated the other round and not coated. The prescription arrived in the latter form which she is unable to swallow. She rang asking if they could be changed and was told no. The pharmacist told her to half them or crush them which with severe arthritis she is unable to do. She was then told That she would need a new prescription from the Dr. This was duly sent to the pharmacy specifying the tablets she needed and they have once again sent the wrong tablets. Disgraceful attitude to an elderly lady and obviously unable to read drs instructions. I am still waiting for a response to the complaint lodged with them. Further to the owners response no one was asking for the prescription to be changed just to be issued in a form which she could take. Assumptions with regard to carers should not be made when nothing is known about the clients circumstances. if care had been taken to read the prescription it would have been seen that the previous pharmacist had made a note that oblong tablets were required on other medication which common sense would have decreed that this would apply to all medication and on the second script the brand was actually noted in the script notes. Although the pandemic has indeed been serious I feel it is often used as an excuse for poor service, this far down the line. i do not feel the response so far has communicated any apology whatsoever

Always picked up prescriptions but as self-isolating rang and asked about delivery. They more than happy to help even when part of the prescription was missing and had to do a second delivery. Thank you so much you are a credit to this community.

UPDATE ADDED BELOW:::Attitude from staff is disgraceful, my mother has tablets she needs to take for her heart which get delivered using their delivery service however they havent arrived when they should of and rang the pharmacy and she was basically told they were still at the chemist from not being picked up and the drivers have all gone home and shell have to wait until Monday or find a way to go get them which she cant do, its why she has her prescriptions delivered and said the reason why her tablets arent being delivered is because she didnt order them a month in advance???!!!! Seriously what kind of messed up joke is this? I personally just tried ringing the pharmacy a good 12 times and no one is picking up, its just being ignored, The owner should be appalled for the type of staff they have here!!! I wouldnt recommend this place even if it was the last pharmacy on the planet! Update: Rang this morning to see if theyll be delivered and woman who answered gave snappy attitude and shouted down the phone didnt I speak to you this morning which is downright rude and disrespectful and to answer no you didnt. Then was told prescription is on the van and will arrive to you at 11am and when 11am came it didnt turn up so rang again at 5pm and said its on the van and Ill arrive in an hour and its now 9:30pm and they still havent arrived. This is ridiculous, my mother has been without her tablets for 4 days now! Shes in a lot of distress and wanting to change her pharmacy over.
