My husband had a hospital appointment and after receiving the news you don't want to hear we had to pick an electronic prescription up ( Thusday 8th Dec ). We went to the counter to activate the prescription to be told it hadn't come through yet and to take a seat and they would come and get us when they had it, after 45 mts and still no number I went back to the counter to be told the prescription was blank and to go back to clinic and ask for a new one to be sent , but the clinic was finished and the doctor had to be called.
We then waited for the prescription to arrive to be told the waiting time was now over 1 hour so we went for a cup of tea as we were still both in shock at the news we had been told by the doctor.
On returning we could see the order number 128 in progress on the screen, so we took a seat and waited.
Another hour passed so I went up to the counter again to be told that they did not have the prescription in stock and that they had shouted but we must have left the chemist, now my way of thinking is surley they should put next to the number for the customer to call back at counter so they can be told they didn't have the medication in stock - common sense, but no they then say they will ring when it comes in - but no, we rang them next day (friday) and it still wasn't in- now that leaves the weekend and it's closed, infact it was the Tues we went back in person to be told it had just come into stock at that minute and there's your waiting number it will be about 35mts wait - however 50 mts later the number was called and when we went up to collect it , they couldn't find it so was told to take a seat again, so now my husband is 5 days behind starting his treatment which i think is an absolute disgrace, Come on lloyds Pharmacy get your act together as you seem to have plenty of time to chat and laugh in your job while the un-important people like us have to get on with it, I think your chemist is shocking and need you need checking to see if you have the correct staff to deal with this job.
Very disapointed your playing with people's lives.
