Paul is a very skilled and knowledgeable instructor. He understands the complete syllabus and thinks a lot on how to best get it across. Its a good atmosphere to train in!

An excellent club! Sifu Paul Roughead teaches Wing Chun in a progressive, yet easy to understand way. Allowing you to develop at your own pace in a supportive learning environment that is both challenging and fun!

Appletree Wing Chun offers the opportunity to obtain useful self defence techniques through the art of Wing Chun and has greatly improved my confidence and ability in this area. The Sifu trains in a relaxed yet informative manner and each session is a brilliant experience. I've been there for just over half a year and continue to learn new and engaging skills each time I attend!

Having studied several forms of Martial Arts and their environments over the years, this approach is leagues ahead. First and foremost, a genuinely lovely group of people and trainers who are both knowledgable, patient and friendly. The pace of the training/learning is adapted to individuals progress and it is quite simply a more fun and rewarding way to learn. Thank you Paul and all the Appletree students for the warm welcome.

Excellent tuition in this traditional, close quarters fighting style. The Sifu and instructors are knowledgeable, patient and never fail to surprise me as I continue to learn the forms, techniques, ideas and notice them working during Chi Sau. A wonderful group of people. Just wish I found them years ago.
