Normally stay at The Amble Inn with no faults but decided to try The Kingslodge Durham big mistake, to start we were put on the wrong room, bed was so small, bathroom smell of damp and outside our window was a generator some sort. We went for our dinner which was nice apart from the treacle tart which was rock hard and for some reason they decided to garnish it with cress very strange. Then came breakfast next morning which we sat down at 9am gave our order of two cooked breakfasts.... 9.35am still waiting so asked what was the hold up to be told sorry ticket didnt print in kitchen so they weren't aware and food won't be long, 5 minutes later our food came but was dry as if been standing under a heater obviously we left it all, did complaint on check out to be told oh sorry and that was that, as never again. Very disappointed customer.
