        You never know quite what you're going to get with a city-centre hotel but I was very pleased with my stay here. Met by friendly staff, and with an incredibly nice room, it was just what I needed. Very generous and wide-ranging breakfast too. Walkability: A short-distance off of the Hadrian's Wall path - not too far at all.

        Rooms: About the rooms: Fancy rooms with large windows and controlled geating system, my inly take would be the view so ask for a room with a street view. Nearby activities: Take a nice stroll towards from hotel indigo Elden square, there's also a fresh market there but make sure you have cash with you.

        Great service at reception. Really helpful, polite and attentive. Breakfast lovely and staff equally polite and helpful. Room spacious and clean. Definitely will return. Walkability: Very close to the rail station. Great location.
