Dear Staybridge Hotel, I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel in Newcastle. As a French customer who paid 200 for what was advertised as a four-star hotel, I was shocked at the poor quality of service and accommodations that I received. Upon arrival, we encountered several issues that were not addressed adequately by your staff. Firstly, we were informed that there were problems with the hotel's plumbing, but we were told that there were no available rooms to switch to. This left us in a room with foul-smelling pipes and water that was barely running. Additionally, the toilet in our room had a malfunctioning flush, which was also not addressed during our stay. Despite numerous complaints to the reception, no solutions were offered or acted upon. To add insult to injury, we were not offered any sort of compensation or apology for the inconvenience and discomfort we experienced during our stay. I believe that this lack of response from your hotel is completely unacceptable, and does not reflect the standards that one would expect from a supposed four-star hotel. Overall, I feel that my experience at your hotel was a complete letdown and did not meet the expectations of a hotel with your rating. I strongly advise that you address the issues that we encountered during our stay and improve your customer service if you want to avoid losing more customers in the future. Furthermore, I would like to highlight that we were promised a follow-up call regarding the issues we encountered during our stay, but we have yet to receive any communication from your hotel since Sunday. This lack of communication only adds to our disappointment and frustration with our experience at Staybridge Hotel. It is disappointing that your hotel would make such promises and then fail to follow through on them. As a paying customer, I expect a certain level of accountability and responsibility from the hotel staff, and the lack of communication from your hotel has left a negative impression on me. I urge your hotel to take prompt action in addressing these issues and to improve your customer service in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
