Awful, no one ever answers the phone. What a great help you are, NOT! Guess it's me and 300 tamadol pills then.

Rang the crisis team today and was met with raised voices while asking for support for someone close to me. I had to give up as the phone operator gave me sighs of frustration telling that they could not help, even after I told of someone being suicidal. 2 years ago, I could not fault them. This service, at the moment is not worth the effort of a phone call, it will just make you very frustrated with the lack of empathy for people who are at their lowest.

I was having a breakdown (obviously) and swore during my conversation with the operator - I'd like to make it clear that i didn't swear at her but during a spiraling ramble about how upset i was - and she told me off, as though im an unruly schoolkid and not a grown person in an incredibly vulnerable state. Sorry but if you can't handle people swearing maybe don't be in a job where you deal with vulnerable people when they're at their lowest. Was then called back by Bea, who I've had previous issues with. She was rude and dismissive and talked over me several times to dismiss what i was saying, and then acted as though I was being difficult despite me being very upfront but she kept telling me she wasn't interested in what i was talking about because she was interested 'in the now' (whatever that means) - even though I was trying to explain why I had rang in the first place. So unhelpful and just made me feel even more despairing and alone. Hate that this is the only team we can turn to Edited cause last night I was having a hysterical breakdown and the cops were called, and they rang the crisis team for me. The woman I spoke to was so rude and unhelpful, hitting me with a snap of well there are no beds available so what exactly do you want me to do? - it was to the point where even the cops were appalled at the way she was speaking to me. Needless to say nothing came of the conversation aside from me feeling worse and the police left at a loss of what to do to help, given that the only service available explicitly said they werent going to help. I wonder how many people this service kills? Something really has to be done about they way they treat people.
